Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology

The Master of Science (MS) in Speech-language Pathology education program provides a two-year (5 semesters) full-time residential graduate program of study with a unique curriculum combining community-based clinical training with a medical focus. The program provides students with robust scientific education and intensive clinical training to prepare for entry speech-language pathologists working in diverse healthcare settings. 

The program has received institutional approvals and the approval of the University of Texas System, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB), and The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) Executive Council of the Board of Trustees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution
  • Complete program prerequisites prior to entry
  • Overall GPA 3.0
  • Three letters of recommendation
