The Glenn Biggs Institute for Alzheimer’s & Neurodegenerative Diseases will hold its first public lecture Jan. 31 as part of efforts to spread understanding of  dementia in the community.

The conference, Feb. 21-23 in San Antonio, will unite health researchers, oncologists, professionals, leaders, and students to tackle Latino cancer on many fronts.

University created a recycling program for the management of various universal waste products, recycled flammable liquids from research laboratories, drastically reduced copper, zinc and mercury discharge levels to local water systems, and used recycled wastewater for chilling and cooling towers and for irrigation.
