Message from the Chair

Dear UT Health San Antonio Occupational Therapy Colleagues and Friends,

It is hard to believe 2022 is half over! Our program faculty and students have celebrated numerous accomplishments so far this year, and we are happy to share some of these updates with you.

We enjoyed welcoming many of you in person and virtually during the AOTA Inspire 2022 Annual Conference & Expo, which was held this spring in our beautiful city of San Antonio. The conference exuded a palpable energy and excitement amplified by the opportunity to gather in person after three years. Members of our faculty were highly engaged in conference activities, from serving on the conference committee and delivering presentations to participating in committee work. We also had several students and alumni present their research and outcomes from their doctoral capstone projects. Learn more about our faculty's engagement at AOTA below.

This spring, we were once again reminded how bright the future of the profession truly is as we celebrated the graduation of the Class of 2022 and welcomed the incoming Class of 2025. We wish everyone a happy and healthy summer!

Warmest regards,

Bridgett Piernik-Yoder
