Message from the Chair

Dear colleagues and friends,

As the events of the past several years have shown, educating and training the next generation of physician assistants has never been more important. We look back as we always keep an eye to the future: This October, our program celebrated its 20th anniversary, and we are in the second year of offering our Master of Physician Assistant Studies program at a second location — the UT Education and Research Center at Laredo. I appreciate learning about your programs’ progress and innovations, and I’m pleased to share an update on some of the recent faculty and student news and engagement in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies at UT Health San Antonio.

Best wishes,
