UT Dentistry will join the Epic Ambulatory version of Epic. Therefore, radiographs will need to be ‘Ordered.’ Epic and MiPACS have also been integrated, which enables viewing images directly in Epic and interfaces to record requests, support claims management and share images outside of UT Dentistry.

HOW TO ENTER A SERVICE REQUEST TICKET FOR EPIC SUPPORT

During and following the Go-Live period, for immediate Epic support, you can contact the service desk at 210-450-4800 or enter a service ticket. The Epic team has provided a step-by-step guide to help make the process easier. The guide includes information on creating an Epic Support Service Request in My Service Center, a Report an Issue Guide and supporting Epic Terminology for UT Dentistry.

IN-PERSON HELP DURING GO-LIVE

The Epic Command Center will be set up in the COHR lecture hall, room 2001, from Dec. 10–20 and Jan. 2–10. During this time, Epic will provide immediate support and in-person assistance.
