A memorial endowment award has been established to honor the legacy of John H. Littlefield, PhD.  The award will support dental and medical students of UT Health San Antonio who show a strong interest in pursuing a career in academic healthcare.

The National Institutes of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) is funding an award that helps Shivani B. Ruparel, MS, PhD, promote diversity in research by supporting Ms. Jaclyn Merlo, a second-year masters student who has her sights on the DDS/PhD program.

Yong-hee Patricia Chun, DDS, MS, PhD, has been selected to co-direct The Translational Science Training Tl1 program, a component of the Clinical and Translational Science Award.
