San Antonio may not have yet seen the peak of coronavirus, but I am humbled by the activity from all units and departments in the School of Dentistry as they respond to the COVID-19 outbreak.

During this unprecedented time of uncertainly and change, UT Health San Antonio, the region's academic medical center, is targeting all resources of its clinical care, advanced biomedical research and health education missions to partner with other industry leaders and mobilize against the COVID-19 pandemic.  In this three-minute video, President William L. Henrich, M.D., MACP, provides examples of how the health science center is serving its community and beyond.

Third year dental student, Katharina Tosti, has been chosen to represent the student body and our university next year as a Presidential Ambassador Scholar.

As part of UT System's ongoing commitment to our continuing development an online learning initiative called UT System Learning Zone is available to all UT System employees.  The UT System Learning Zone is a developmental tool you can utilize in your own time and at your own pace.

You can look forward to accessing a diverse library of content 24 hours a day.  The courses cover a variety of subject matter in order to meet the various training needs of all employees—from business skills development and information technology topics to software application instruction and wellness.
