The School of Dentistry, led by Peter M. Loomer, B.Sc., D.D.S., Ph.D., MRCD(C), FACD, honored black families who have fell victim to violence and propose to revise the current set of core values to clearly express school commitment to social justice and equality.

The UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry conducted its 2020 Commencement Ceremony on Thursday, May 28th by broadcasting the event live from the Holly Auditorium to graduates and their guests in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Rising DS4 publishes case report in the Texas Dental Journal

E. Joel Elizondo, rising DS4, contributed to June's Texas Dental Journal's "Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology Case of the Month".  The publication details a case report about a patient who presented in the Oral Medicine clinic with multiple mouth ulcers.

Ballinger Memorial Endowment
 

Sylvia Canales Ballinger cared for generations of families during her 40+ years as a dental hygienist.  Her family has established an endowed scholarship in Sylvia's name to support dental hygiene students as a reflection of her helpful spirit.
