Kay H. Malone, DDS, FAGD, doesn't consider himself an influencer in the profession of dentistry. However, generations of underrepresented dental students may argue that point as they follow the example he has set.

Jason P. Jones, DDS, MD, sixth-year oral and maxillofacial resident, received the 2021 Oral Abstract Scientific Presentation Award at the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) annual meeting.

38th Annual James P. Hollers Memorial Lecture
 

The James P. Hollers Memorial Lecture honors James P. Hollers, a dentist and San Antonio civic leader who chaired the San Antonio Medical Foundation for 20 years and was a driving force in establishing the School of Dentistry. This year’s distinguished speaker was Christian Coachman, DDS, of Madrid, Spain, founder of Digital Smile Design.

San Antonio District Dental Society (SADDS), in partnership with the School of Dentistry’s Office of Continuing Dental Education, hosted its first-ever Dental Job Fair and Networking Event in December.
