The UT Health San Antonio's 76th Texas Cavaliers River Parade barge will celebrate the School of Dentistry's 50th Anniversary with the theme "Eating Healthy".  Former Fiesta royalty and clinical assistant professor, Georgiana S. Gross, MPH, RDN, LD, supports the health-based theme since Fiesta tempts many to overindulge.

Dr. Anna Katharina Tosti, 2021 alumna, was featured by KSAT 12 News for their "College Great Graduates" segment for her notable accomplishments serving refugees while in dental school.

Student Government Association Representative of the Year and DDS/PhD student, Meilinn Tram, was awarded over $350K through The Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award F30 training grant.

In April, Dean Loomer invited a virtual group of guests into his San Antonio home to share a culinary experience.  Dr. Loomer and rising third-year dental student, Amanda Wilson, cooked up some of the Dean's favorite foods while sharing updates on the School of Dentistry.

Bien Air Dental USA donated and installed more than 500 electric handpieces at the Center for Oral Health Care and Research.
