On March 13th, the university announced efforts to execute a plan that would initiate remote instruction for all students the following week. Academic leadership rapidly began an in-depth evaluation of program coursework to not only present it online, but to make it better than before.
These times are hard for us students who were only a little more than a month away from completing a challenging but rewarding degree. So many things are out of our hands and out of the hands of our faculty, who have done an amazing job at staying positive and reassuring us that we will become dental hygienists!
COVID-19 has taught us all that fighting an invisible enemy can be a daunting and difficult task. However, it has also taught us the value of love, life, friendships, and that together, UNITED, we will prevail.
