Message from the Chair

Dear Colleagues, Alumni and Friends,

It is my pleasure to send you the 2022 fall newsletter from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Department of Occupational Therapy. This issue highlights the ongoing work of our faculty and students and their remarkable commitment to our profession. They have achieved many things over the past year, including an outstanding number of publications in key journals, national and international conference presentations and grant submissions. Many of our faculty also serve in national and international leadership and service positions. We have also welcomed two new fantastic faculty members to the department. I know you will enjoy learning more about some of these endeavors in this issue.

As we near the end of 2022, we wish you a happy and healthy holiday season.

Warmest regards,
Bridgett Piernik-Yoder, PhD, OTR, FAOTA
Professor and Department Chair
