This cross-collaborative event between the IIMS Community Health Advisory Board (CHAB), Community Engagement, and the Office of Research Education & Mentoring (OREM) gives community members and IIMS trainees a venue to present their research in 3 minutes to a live audience of community members, faculty, staff and students. Presenters use language and concepts that are easy to understand with 1 slide. Fourteen presenters (3 community and 11 students/trainee/junior investigators) shared their research findings with 82 online participants. Winners included: Ciera Price, Anjali Sivaramakrishnan, Michael Brode and Brittany Serna. Judges included Destiny Mujica, PhD – IIMS Community Health Advisory Board, Junda Woo, MD – Metro Health, and Camerino Salazar, PhD – Health Research in Action.
