An open letter from Dean Loomer to our School of Dentistry community.

Senior dental student, Jared Ricks, has been elected to serve as the 2019-2020 District 9 Trustee for the American Student Dental Association (ASDA).

The School of Dentistry hosted a Welcome Social for the Dental Hygiene Classes of 2020, 2021, and the DDS Class of 2023.

The Student Research Training Program (SRTP) assists students by offering them research skills in addition to their ongoing clinical dental program.

A few of the SRTP student participants, and a faculty mentor, were kind enough to tell us about their projects and experience in the SRTP.

We each have the power to make lives better and we start right here on campus, our own community.

Recognizing individuals making a difference in their areas.

It’s not uncommon for dental residents to be in a long-term relationship or even married with children. What is extraordinary is when both partners are entering their dental residencies at the same time with 9 children to care for!

Many complex roles work together to accomplish our purpose here at the UT Health San Antonio.  Supporting our mission to educate future oral health care providers, staff members play an integral part behind the scenes.
