A grant expansion is bringing new hope to Texas communities by allowing Be Well Texas and its statewide partners to expand treatment access, improve continuity of care and reach both rural and urban communities with life-saving services. 

We are especially proud of Dr. Jennifer Sharpe Potter, PhD, MPH, founding director of the Be Well Institute and one of our distinguished CTSA leaders, for her leadership in this important work.

Translational Technology Resource (TTR) Award
Now Accepting Applications!

The Institute for Integration of Medicine & Science (IIMS) is now accepting applications for Translational Technology Resource (TTR) awards to support genetic analyses at the single-cell level and spatial level. The proposed research must have relevance to clinical and/or translational science.

 

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. Proposals received on or before the 15th of a given month will be reviewed by the 15th of the following month.

CTSA Scholars and Trainees Expand the Reach of Translational Science

A new study in the Journal of Clinical and Translational Science found that research by CTSA KL2 scholars and TL1 trainees has significant academic and public impact, with nearly 20% of over 30,000 publications receiving high Altmetric Attention Scores. CTSA-supported scientists are increasingly influencing public discourse and policy, especially when their work is highly cited or policy relevant. This cross-hub collaboration demonstrates the value of innovative metrics and partnerships in advancing translational science and real-world health outcomes. Continue Reading
